# Depositing & Withdrawing

Depositing into and withdrawing from a Liquidex index is simple, transparent, and fully under your control.

## Deposit Flow

### Approve

Authorize the index vault to spend your USDG.

### Swap

The protocol swaps your USDG into underlying stock tokens according to the current target weights.

### Build positions

Concentrated liquidity positions are created in the active range for each pool.

### Receive shares

You instantly receive the index share token (e.g. `TECH_INDEX`).

## Withdrawal Flow

You can **redeem** your shares **at any time**:

1. **Burn shares** — your index tokens are burned
2. **Redeem positions** — the vault proportionally redeems the underlying liquidity
3. **Convert** — all underlying assets are swapped back to USDG automatically
4. **Receive USDG** — the funds are transferred straight to your wallet
